Who We Are
VanteriQ is a two-person AI Implementation Company in Vancouver, BC. We design and build custom AI systems for professional firms, and we work directly with the people who run them.
Our Story
Why We Started VanteriQ
We started VanteriQ in March 2026 after several years in professional roles where the same problem kept showing up: the information a business needed already existed, but finding it, checking it, and acting on it took hours out of every day. Dean saw it in mechanical engineering, where a large share of a professional's week goes to hunting through technical documentation. Ethan saw it running IT and building the internal systems a company relied on every day.
By 2026 AI models had become reliable enough for us to build tools that actually solve that problem. So we did. From there, we started building other AI tools to address common workflow inefficiencies that professionals face. The two of us do all the work, from the first conversation, to design, development, and the support that comes after.

Founders
Dean W.
Co-Founder, Client Lead
Dean holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from BCIT, and worked as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia. His engineering background includes managing one of North America's largest pump performance test facilities, and working with clients from critical industries like nuclear, oil & gas, chemical processing, and municipal water.
Dean brings a customer-focused, systems engineering mindset to AI implementation. He works closely with clients to understand their objectives, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical AI solutions.
Ethan R.
Co-Founder, Technical Lead
Ethan works as an IT Manager and Lead Developer, building the systems a business runs on day to day: a custom CRM, inventory management, business intelligence dashboards, internal automations, and the infrastructure underneath them. Along the way he built the company's first AI tools, including a knowledge search system, which is what led to VanteriQ. He holds a Diploma in Computer Studies and Information Systems and studied Computer Science at Simon Fraser University.
Ethan designs and builds every system we deliver, and because he still runs production systems himself, he builds tools the way someone who has to maintain them would.

You work with the founders
Every conversation, design decision, and line of code comes from Dean or Ethan. You don't get handed off to another team after the sale.
Step by step
We break engagements into clear stages, each with its own scope and quote. You pay for one step at a time, review the work, and decide whether to continue. No long contracts, no big upfront commitment, and no obligation to move forward if it's not the right fit.
Your data stays yours
